Configure Manual Headroom

In our example we are going to use both Automatic and manual headroom in order to demostrate the value of having headroom capacity.

Specifically for AKS users both automatic and manual headroom are enabled by default

Enable automatic headroom by following one of the two sections based on your preference

  1. Allow headroom by enabling Headroom via UI (recommended)

  2. Allow both automatic and manual headroom via API

  3. Allow both automatic and manual headroom via TF

Enter your Ocean cluster, click on the Actions button on the top right and choose customize scaling. edit_cluster
